BBC Award winning singer-songwriter Adam Holmes performs a rare afternoon concert with his trio, bringing together songs from across his catalogue with the stories behind them.

The show moves between close three-part arrangements, humour and the moments that shaped the songs. It feels personal, relaxed and full of life, with the intimacy of a listening room and the lift of a full live performance.

This special afternoon show is designed for people who prefer not to travel at night, those with flexible weekdays, and anyone who enjoys the simple pleasure of live music in the middle of the day.

As Adam’s home city, Edinburgh has always been a special place to perform. With audiences growing and the shows moving into larger venues, this is a rare chance to experience Songs & Stories at close range while the rooms are still this intimate.

The Venue

Built in 1882, Bruntsfield Evangelical Church is one of Edinburgh’s finest Victorian church buildings.

Its warm timber interior, beautiful stonework and natural acoustics make it an exceptional room for acoustic music. Every seat feels close to the performance, creating exactly the atmosphere Songs & Stories was designed for.
