BBC award-winning songwriter Adam Holmes returns to the Highlands with his trio for a special Christmas edition of Songs & Stories.

His music has been broadcast across the BBC and featured in productions including Outlander and Apple TV. These Christmas concerts have become a highlight of the year, combining original songs, carefully chosen seasonal music and the stories that sit behind them.

Expect an evening of beautiful three-part arrangements, humour, reflection and songs that suit the quieter side of Christmas. It is a concert for people who enjoy listening properly and sharing the atmosphere of a room.

The Venue

Ness Bank Church stands on the banks of the River Ness and is one of Inverness's most beautiful historic buildings.

Its sandstone walls, stained-glass windows and exceptional natural acoustics create a remarkable setting for live acoustic music. In December, there are few places better suited to a Christmas concert.
